Police release video of men stealing ATM from business

Two thieves can be seen at the top of the screen pulling and kicking an ATM loose during a burglary earlier this month.

The Fairfax County Police are looking for suspects who have been breaking into local businesses and stealing entire ATM machines. Police say the thieves have hit five business in the county since June 17, including the C-Store convenience market at 8178 Richmond Highway.

According to police, the suspects are using stolen vehicles to carry out the crimes. The thieves then abandon the cars vehicles nearby, police said.

The police posted video of one of the break-ins today, which shows two people trespassing at Import Auto Service on Edsall Road earlier this month. The men locate the ATM and proceed to pry and kick the machine loose (not before the machine knocks one of the men down) and then drag it from the store:
