Police blotter: Teens assault, rob 63-year-old pizza delivery man
A 63-year-old pizza delivery driver was assaulted and robbed by a pair of teens while working on the 4th of July, according to the Fairfax County Police.
The unnamed driver did not require medical attention after the assault, which police said took place around 9 p.m.in the 7700 block of Blue Jay Court in Hybla Valley.
According to police, the two teens assaulted the driver after he got out of his vehicle to make a delivery in the Audubon Estates mobile home community. The teens fled after taking some of the driver’s food, the police said.
Man hospitalized after robbery
A 31-year-old man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after getting assaulted and robbed in the Woodlawn area early this morning, according to the police.
The man was exiting his car in the 8400 block of Frye Road when another man assaulted him and demanded money, according to the police. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the police.
