Arrest made in 2015 Hybla Valley murder

Fairfax Police announced today that they’ve made an arrest in connection with the shooting death of a man last fall in Hybla Valley.

Charles Kibler, 31, is charged with murdering Jose Anibar Cisneros on Oct. 4, 2015.

Police found Cisneros suffering from a gunshot would in the upper body in the 7100 block of Groveton Gardens Road around 3 a.m. He was taken to the hospital and died a short time later, according to police.

Kibler was arrested Monday at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was being held on charges not related to the death of Cisneros. Kibler has an extensive arrest record, according to Fairfax County General District Court records available online. Since 2006, he has been charged with more than 50 offenses.

Police said there are no other suspects in Cisneros’ death.
