Celebrate Fairfax festival starts Friday

Living Colour is one of the headline bands at Celebrate Fairfax.

The 35th annual Celebrate Fairfax festival begins Friday at the Fairfax County Government Center complex.

Celebrate Fairfax features a slew of entertainment options each day aimed at visitors of all ages. There’s bands on multiple stages, carnival rides, a petting zoo, karaoke, food, alcohol, nightly fireworks and even a club-like dance area with two DJs. The headline bands this year are Plain White Ts (Friday at 8 p.m), the B-52s (Saturday at 8 p.m.), and Living Colour (Sunday at 4 p.m.).

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 12 a.m.
