Police release sketch in murder of teacher’s aide in Huntington area
The Fairfax County Police have released a sketch of a person they believe may have information about the murder of Tarreece Sampson on May 20.
Sampson, 24, was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Cityside Huntington Metro apartments on Richmond Highway, which is where he lived. Police have not made any arrests in connection with the homicide.
The woman in the sketch is described by police as “black, with a light complexion and almond-shaped eyes.” They believe she may have been in the parking lot before the shooting took place. Police did not refer to her as a suspect in their news release.
Sampson was an aspiring teacher who worked at Fort Hunt Elementary School as an instructional aide. Just three days before he was killed, Sampson had interviewed for his first full-time teaching position.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Jeremy Hinson at 703-246-7825 or call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
