Wingstop has hiring signs in the window at 6328C Richmond Highway, the former location of Zpizza.

The Route 1 corridor is set to get its second Wingstop. “Coming Soon” and “Now Hiring” signs for the aviation-themed wing franchise can be seen in the windows at 6328C Richmond Highway, the former location of a Zpizza restaurant.

According to permit information on the Fairfax County website, Wingstop was granted permission to begin work at the location Jan. 20, and the company now has an application in process with the county to put up its sign.

The 6328 building also houses a Sprint store and dry cleaners. The Wingstop storefront has been vacant since Zpizza closed in 2015.

This will be Wingstop’s third location in Northern Virginia. The other Wingstop located in the Route 1 corridor is a few miles south at 8723 Cooper Rd., and there is also a Wingstop in Springfield.
