Police blotter: Man tased by police during disturbance on Sherwood Hall Lane

A man was arrested Friday evening after police say he caused a disturbance in the Hybla Valley area by taking his clothes off and screaming, according to Monday’s Fairfax County Police blotter.

The incident happened near the intersection of Sherwood Hall Lane and Andrus Road (see map) around 7:15 p.m. Police say the 40-year-old suspect was “acting disorderly” when officers arrived on the scene, and subsequently ignored orders to stop. An officer used an electronic control weapon (a taser) on the suspect, and he was then taken into custody, according to police.

The suspect was charged with drunk in public.
