Boardwalk Astronomy @ Huntley Meadows Park

What’s new in the night sky this summer? Find out at Huntley Meadows Park on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

Stroll the boardwalk with park naturalists as they take you on a tour of constellations and comets and update you on astronomical current events. The “Boardwalk Astronomy” program is designed for participants age 12 to adult and runs from 8 to 10 p.m. The cost is $9 per person. Due to the nature of the program, this event will be canceled in the event of rain or other severe weather.

Learn about the geese, ducks, coots, herons, turtles, fish, snakes, deer, chipmunks, foxes, coyotes, raccoons, and billions of bugs who call Kingstowne Lake home.

There is no charge for this event and it is open to everyone inside and outside the Kingstowne community.

Suggest bringing: water, bug spray, sunscreen, and binoculars.

This nature walk is sponsored by the Chancery Condominiums and the Kingstowne Lake Improvement Association (KLIA).
