Reeder is accused of setting his 64-year-old girlfriend on fire during a domestic dispute. Police and fire crews were called to their house at 4911 Keeler Court around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. After the fire was extinguished, rescuers found the victim inside the house suffering from injuries that are considered to be life-threatening.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the victim was still in critical condition, a hospital spokewoman confirmed.

Reeder has a history of domestic violence arrests.  In July 2015, he was arrested in Fairfax  on charges of assault and battery against a family member. The Fairfax County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court said yesterday that the charges were eventually dropped in the case. Reeder was also arrested in Spartansburg, South Carolina in 2013 on charges of criminal domestic violence. It’s unclear how that case was resolved.

Police had been called to the house on Keeler Court before, said a neighbor who did not wish to give their name.

Police believe Reeder is 56 years old. He’s described as being 5 foot 9 inches and 160 pounds. Police warned the public not to approach Reeder if they see him, and to immediately call 911.
