The suspect in the slaying of Luis Bonilla has been arrested in New Hampshire, the Fairfax County Police announced this morning.

Taylor was arrested Tuesday night by local police and Massachusetts State Troopers in Hudson, New Hampshire, according to the Hudson Police Department. Fairfax County detectives had received a tip that Taylor was in the Lowell, Massachusetts area, and Massachusetts State Police tracked him to an apartment complex in Hudson, which is just north of Lowell (see map), according to a Hudson Police press release.

Taylor was taken into custody without incident, the Hudson Police said.

Fairfax police say Taylor is responsible for the Dec. 1 murder of Bonilla, who was found suffering from stab wounds near the Meadow Woods Apartments in Hybla Valley by police on a routine patrol around 11:15 p.m. First responders were unable to revive him.

Bonilla, 24, lived less than a mile from where he was found.

Police announced Dec. 11 that Taylor was suspected of killing and robbing Bonilla, and said that Bonilla’s phone — which was taken from him and later found by police — tied Taylor to the crime. The two men were acquaintances, police said.

Taylor is currently being held in a New Hampshire jail on charges of being a fugitive from justice. He was arraigned Wednesday morning and is being held on $500,000 cash bond, according to the Fairfax County Police. His next court hearing is Jan. 4.
