A man was hurt early Saturday after he was assaulted near the intersection of Seven Woods Drive and Sausalito Place (see map). The victim was walking when he was hit in the head with an unknown object from behind, causing him to lose consciousness, according to police.

When the victim came to, he noticed that personal items had been taken. Police said the man’s injuries were non-life threatening and that the incident remains under investigation.

Another robbery occurred around 12:50 a.m. on Saturday morning, when a pizza delivery man was held up by two men in the 5800 block of Edgehill Drive in the Jefferson Manor area (see map). The assailants took cash and the pizza from the driver.
