A gun sale gone wrong and three robberies, including two where the victim was assaulted, were reported in Monday’s Fairfax County Police blotter.
Leandro Portillo Garcia, 28, is facing charges of brandishing a firearm and possession of a stolen firearm after an incident Saturday afternoon in the 3400 block of Anker Street (see map), which is located in the Harmony Place mobile home park.
Police say Garcia got upset after a person he attempted to sell a gun to said they weren’t interested. Garcia allegedly threatened the victim, and when police showed up they arrested Garcia and determined the gun was stolen.
Nobody was injured in the incident, police said.

The girl’s injuries were minor, according to police. The suspect was described as being a black male between 18-20 years old, around 5 feet 8 inches tall with short hair.
A man was hurt early Saturday after he was assaulted near the intersection of Seven Woods Drive and Sausalito Place (see map). The victim was walking when he was hit in the head with an unknown object from behind, causing him to lose consciousness, according to police.
When the victim came to, he noticed that personal items had been taken. Police said the man’s injuries were non-life threatening and that the incident remains under investigation.
Another robbery occurred around 12:50 a.m. on Saturday morning, when a pizza delivery man was held up by two men in the 5800 block of Edgehill Drive in the Jefferson Manor area (see map). The assailants took cash and the pizza from the driver.
