Three people were transported to the hospital after a fire early Friday morning at the Audubon Estates mobile home park in Hybla Valley.

One of the victims needed to be medevaced to a local burn center, according to Fairfax Fire and Rescue spokeswoman Ashley Hildebrandt. However all victims’ injuries are non-life-threatening, Hildebrandt said.

The ages of the victims was not immediately available; WUSA9 reported that the victim flown to the hospital was a male.

Neighbors called 911 around 1:20 a.m. to report the fire in the 7800 block of Eagle Avenue (see map), according to Hildebrandt. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Hildebrand said.

Three adults and a cat were displaced by the blaze, and the residents are receiving Red Cross assistance, according to Hildebrandt.

The fire started in the living room of the trailer, and was first noticed by a resident who woke up and smelled smoke, according to a Nov. 21 fire department press release. Damage to the home was estimated to be $25,000.
