Weekend police blotter: Burglars smash through door to enter store

Two men smashed a glass front door and burglarized a Huntington-area business on Saturday afternoon, according to today’s Fairfax County Police blotter.

The incident happened at the Dollar Plus & Market at 2253 Huntington Avenue around 5 p.m. Police say a witness saw two men break the door and then enter the business. The witness went to a nearby business and called police, but the burglars fled before the police arrived. The two drove a red SUV believed to be a Dodge Durango.

No injuries were reported, and police did not disclose if any merchandise was stolen.
